Rodney Friend's unique place as international concertmaster and globally renowned pedagogue has enabled him to bring together an incredible faculty for his violin course in July 2020. Due to the online nature of the course this year, he has been able to invite some of the most distinguished international concert violinists, bringing them together to create an intensive, selective, life-changing week of learning for the most gifted students.

 

The faculty of FIVA 2020 include an incredible line up of violinists, Rodney Friend, Pinchas Zukerman, Augustin Hadelich, Yuzuko Horigome, Joel Smirnoff, Cho-Liang Lin, Dong-Suk Kang, Siyeon Ryu, Cihat Askin and So-Ock Kim.

FIVA 2020 will take place 30th July- 5th August 2020 and promises to be an intensive, selective, life-changing week of learning for the most gifted violinists. With excellent audio and online support, this is an incredible way to learn from an array of talented and respected professors from all around the globe.

Individual private lessons, small group classes, masterclasses and panel discussions give each student unique opportunities to work with the entire faculty,  tailored to each individual's time zone.
